Congratulations to our amazing June Volunteers of the Month!
We had so many awesome entries this month and wish we could recognise everyone!
Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination and ALL volunteers for all of the hard work and dedication you give to your teams, clubs, the competition and the sport of Rugby League.
Izaea Christie- CSU Muddogs
Izaea has made a big impact on the club from the moment he came into it at the beginning of the year. He does everything he can to help the Muddogs do what they do best. He is our game day extraordinaire, from running water, to being a trainer, team manager, coach, strapper, supporter and absolute legend. He never asks for anything in return and always offers valuable insights.
We hope Izaea can be recognised for all of his contributions to our club and the league throughout this season!
Lika Taulapapa-Tietie
Lika has gone above and beyond in so many ways for the Northern Thunder club!
She is always at the club rooms ready to help and provides a lot of support to the parents and participants at our club. On game days, she is our bubbly field manager and also contributes to the canteen too. Lika is always there to lend a hand!
Lika has also taken on the role of Club Treasurer this season and the manager of the 16s boys and Masters team. We don’t know where we would be without her!
Even though Lika doesn’t seek recognition for all of her hardwork and contributions, we hope that this recognition shines a light on the powerful impact she makes every day!
Richard Smith
Richard is the coach of our Under 14 girls' team and does an amazing job! On game days, he’ll be one of the first to arrive and last to leave, as he’s always there to help the Pakenham Eels where he can.
When he’s not coaching, he helps out as one of our grounds managers, ensuring that everyone has a great experience on game day.
Rain, hail or shine, Richard is there to support our club and teams. Thank you, Richard!
Salote Lavulo
Salote is a valuable member of our committee here at the Sharks. She is also one of our team managers and social media gurus!
Through her efforts at the club, she helped start and play in the club’s first ever women’s league tag team. An achievement that is no small feat. Through her commitment, she has helped the club to grow, put on club feeds, run countless fundraisers, take incredible photos, prepare lolly necklaces, organise dress ups and keep us all organised!
She is a genuine advocate for our participants and the NRL and we are very grateful to have her at our club!
Stephanie Katopau
Stephanie is known to go above and beyond for our club as she manages the Under 14s Boys Red and Senior Men 2nd Grade sides. She is always there setting up and packing down after every training.
Along with her efforts, Stephanie is a friendly and welcoming person within our club. She gives out really good advice and works hard behind the scenes to ensure the Casey Warriors is a great place to be. If it wasn’t for her, we would be lost!
