NRL Victoria Statement - Premier's Announcement

NRL Victoria acknowledges the announcement made today by the Premier of Victoria regarding Stage 3 Restrictions being imposed on 10 postcodes in Melbourne. NRL Victoria will review this statement and take advice on relevant authorities regarding the impact on Rugby League participation, before determining the course forward for the 2020 season.

Whilst this announcement may affect some more than others, NRL Victoria’s position is that regardless of circumstances, if there is an opportunity to play Rugby League matches, and there are people willing and able to participate, we will use all best endeavours to facilitate this opportunity.
