Club Development Week 2023

NRL Victoria are excited to announce the inaugural Club Development Week, happening from Monday 3rd to Thursday 6th of April.

The aim of the week is to provide volunteers and parents the opportunity to work together in online workshops and discussions to enhance their skills and support the rugby league community.

NRL Victoria’s Operations Manager, Scott McNaughton, said he was excited by the growing number of participants on the eve of the 2023 season.

“We are seeing an incredible increase in participants for season 2023, which is on track to exceed our pre-COVID numbers but as is happening in all sports in Victoria, volunteers haven’t come back as readily," he said.

"Our focus is on providing our volunteers and broader rugby league community with the opportunity to come together, learn and share ideas, ultimately to ensure the experience for everyone involved in the game is memorable”.

The sessions range from training about match day roles to workshops on how to create a welcoming environment for all, and much more in between, from a variety of presenters.
